In school Assessments

In collaboration with the whole of The Kemnal Academies Trust, we are completing regular assessments throughout the year for all students. There will be key assessments taking place two times a year (Spring and Summer) in the following subjects: English, Maths, Science, History, Geography and Spanish.

The assessments will review the knowledge your child has gained during the previous terms and are in line with the curriculum maps which can be found here. In the weeks following the assessments staff will identify topics that require a little more focus to embed the learning and will work with students to plug any gaps in their knowledge.

We are aware that the Covid pandemic may have affected your child’s learning. In order to help reduce the impact of the interrupted learning of the past months, our departments will provide revision material for all of the upcoming assessments. Revision material will be put into Google classroom during the run-up to the assessments.
